What We Do
Our invention is optimized where the annual mean wave power is the highest in the higher latitudes of the southern hemisphere (between 40°S and 60°S), particularly in the southern Indian Ocean around the Kerguelen Archipelago and near the southern coasts of Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Chile; in the North Atlantic south of Greenland and Iceland and west of the U.K. and Ireland; and in the North Pacific, south of the Aleutian Islands and near the west coast of Canada and the U.S. states of Washington and Oregon.
Why wave energy
Wave energy is reliable because of perpetual motion of ocean waves. Available most of the hours during the year, therefore power produced from them are much steadier and more predictable. Waves can be accurately predicted 48 hours in advance and therefore forecast energy output (but irregularity in wave amplitude, and direction)
One of the alternative energy to replace current sources is from ocean wave power. Ocean wave energy has the potential to become commercially viable quicker than other renewable technologies, achieving the fastest growth rate of all energy sources and generating significant wealth.
It is reported that wave power devices can generate up to 90 % of the time, compared to 20-30 % for wind and solar power devices.
Wave can travel large distance with little energy loss, so can extract large amount of energy by deploying large amount of devices in array.Zero pollution emission with low environment impact.It reduces dependency on foreign fuel supplies for energy generation.
